GI CORPORATE FAST - WEDs 16th & 23rd AUGUST
ONE or BOTH Wednesdays (or other days that work better for each person.)
Fast a meal or more as it suits each person’s circumstances.
GI Leadership is encouraged to fast both Wednesdays.
An easy start to corporate fast - we will move towards more solid corporate fast.
PURPOSE
We encourage each person to fast and pray for one or more of the themes below.
Grow in hunger and thirst for the Lord
Ps 42:2 My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.
Do the will of God
John 4:34 - Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work.
Release our children & grandchildren to God's holy calling
Acts 2:17 - I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your young men shall see visions.
Break depression & mental illness over our children and the next generation
Mark 9:29 - So He said to them, ‘This kind can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting.’
Release of God's fire & power and the harvest of souls
Acts 1:8 - But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.

Join the Wed Worship & Intercession @5-7pm in the Church.
