DECEMBER 2019

1.    A big “Thank you” to the ladies (and men) for the GI Ladies Breakfast in Nov and your generous mission giving of $570. We look forward to more fun-filled and inspiring time of fellowship, testimony & missions report at the next ladies event.

2.    Thank you for your generous giving to Jesus Cares’ Christmas Coffee Card project for the homeless. This Christmas we have given $1,175 as well as cards and letters to encourage the poor in our city.

3.    We will enjoy another Fellowship Sunday on Sun 22 Dec due to popular response of many people. We will have a shorter service to make time for small group fellowship where we will have opportunity to share our lives in the Word.

4.    GI Christmas Service will be on Wed 25 Dec, 10am @Cornerstone. It will be a shorter service, remembering the love of God who sent His Son Jesus Christ for our salvation.

Cornerstone Congregation invites GI family to their Christmas Eve Service on Tue 24 Dec @6.30pm, followed by festive fellowship of light meal.

5. GI Watch Night Service will be on Tue 31 Dec, 10pm-12:30am @Cornerstone. Let’s prepare our hearts and lives for the fresh outpouring of God’s grace for year 2020 and the new decade coming.

6.    Can each ministry team clear out from the church cupboard all expired or unnecessary items and personal belongings? Due to the limited storage space we have, we will be decluttering the cupboard space before this year ends to make way for the year 2020.

7.   GI Midweek Meetings @Cornerstone will take a break and resume in Jan 2010, after the final meeting on the dates shown below.

1. Cornerstone congregation is holding WELCOME SERVICE for GI on SUNDAY 3 NOV @10AM in the Cornerstone Church, 24 George St. Epping.

   - Fellowship with Cornerstone congregation.
   - Visit GI church office and our midweek gathering place.
   - Children are welcome in the Cornerstone children’s ministry.

Please, pray for Angela on her Mission Trip, 23 Oct - 4 Nov, attending Elijah House training in Malaysia, working with the YWAM team on training from Laos on the gospel outreaches, and specifically focusing on effective ways of supporting the mission work in Laos, where is very little Christian presence.

8. Please, pray for Ps Paul who will be ministering in Indonesia, 4-12 Nov, in youth conference, prayer house and in several churches.

OCTOBER 2019

1. We will be holding a COMBINED SERVICE with the Cornerstone congregation on SUNDAY 3 NOV @10AM in Cornerstone Church in Epping.

   It will be an opportunity for all of us to visit the premise where we have our office and midweek services, and to fellowship with God’s people who generously welcomed us into their facility.

2. GI Ladies Brunch #2 will be on SAT 23 NOV 2019, 9:30am-12pm. Again all donations will go towards mission.

   GI Ladies Brunch #1 in Sept 2019 has raised $1,300 towards GI mission. A big “Thank You” to all our women, who served and gave and wrote words of encouragement to the Sri Lankan women leaders.

3. A big “Thank You” to everyone who participated and served in Come Lord Jesus 2019 in the ushering, worship and intercession.

4. Ps Paul has been ministering in Philippines and in the Ablaze Conference last week of Sept. He sends big thanks from Manila for standing with him in faith and prayers.

5. We will continue with the Gospel of Luke on Sundays this year other than on days when we have guest speakers.

1. We honour and pray for all our men on Father’s Day today, called of God to walk as fathers of faith in the family, church and society.

2. Let’s keep praying and make your voice heard, and break the spirit of infanticide behind the abortion bill, that will make abortion legal up until birth in NSW.

3. In-Depth of Study of Romans with Ps Paul on Wed 7:30-9:00pm @GIHOP-CS begins this week, starting with time of worship & prayer at 6pm.

4. We will systematically go through the Gospel of Luke on Sundays starting this month, that we may grow in the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ - His birth, life, death and resurrection, and His teaching and ministry.

AUGUST 2019

1. Please, sign the petition against the Reproductive Health Care Reform Bill 2019 from passing in the NSW upper house, that makes abortion legal up until birth in NSW.

2. GIHOP is moving to Cornerstone Church premise (24 George St. Epping, GIHOP-CS) after a successful trial use in July. Please, help us clean up GIHOP this month by taking items that belong to you and those that cannot be placed in the new premise.

   For public transport users, Bus 550 (also Bus 630) will take you from GIHOP to Cornerstone in 4-5 min.

   Please, pray for God’s favour and blessing rest upon both congregations as we share and walk together in Christ.

3. Glory International Prayer Drive : August - December 2019

   We will intensify our prayer from Aug to Dec, focusing on the harvest, missions and outreach efforts of GI.

   * August Prayer Roster & Focus is available from Erin / Kishani.

   * Special Missions Prayer Meeting will be held @GIHOP-CS on Fri 16 Aug, 7-10pm, 10pm–4am, led by Friday Prayer Group & Night Watchers.

4. Ps Paul will be on Indonesian mission trip during 5-20 Aug. Please, pray the Lord will strengthen the 550 Indonesian pastors in the 6 cities through these gatherings, and the Holy Spirit to come upon the Indonesian Church in great power.

5. Discipleship Group with Darrel & Erin will continue in August every Sunday afternoon after the Worship Service. If you are a new Christian in need of basic Christian discipleship, or if you are a mature Christian wanting to be trained in discipling new Christians, please talk to Erin on 0455 515 339.

2. Evangelism Team who regularly meets on the 1st & 3rd Sat of each month, will take a break for a couple of months from this month, and regroup afterwards to take the gospel to the streets of Epping again.

5. We welcome Ps Moses from Mae Sot, Thailand, who is visiting Sydney this weekend (2-3 Mar). He is the pastor of Bethany Fellowship who reaches out to the indigenous Burmese population living at the border of Thailand and Burma, whom GI had the joy of knowing past few years.

FEBRUARY 2019

1. Evangelism Team who meets on every 1st & 3rd Sat of each month in GIHOP, will meet on 2nd & 16th in Feb. The team will pray for souls 9-10am, then go to the streets of Epping with the gospel. The team will regroup at 12noon in GIHOP for fellowship.

2. Third Sunday Fellowship is on Sun 17 Feb. We seek to build deeper fellowship with one another in 2019 by gathering in small group after the service monthly and share our lives together in the Word of God.

3. GI Leadership will gather on Tue 5 Feb at 7pm in GIHOP to share on the Lord’s direction and vision for GI for 2019 and onward.

5. We will hold Baptism Service for some of our GI members on Sat 23 Feb @12:30pm in Strathfield home. Friends and family are welcome. Bring a plate for the celebration.

1. GI Leadership will gather on Tue 22 Jan at 7pm in GIHOP to share on the Lord’s direction and vision for GI for 2019 and onward.

1. BABY NEWS
   Big Congratulations to Giles and Natasha on the birth of their baby girl, Charisse last Wednesday on 28 Nov, weighing 2.9kg.

2. GI CAMP 2019
   GI Family Getaway is scheduled for FRI 29 - SUN 31 MARCH 2019 at Collaroy Centre. Please, register for this special time, set apart for us to grow in deep fellowship with one another, and to learn to share our lives authentically in Christ’s body.
   - Ps Regner & Della Capener (from CLJ 2018) will be our guest speaker, who have intimate and supernatural walk with God and a lifetime of powerful testimony.
   - Ps Runa & Phil Meeks who serve in children’s ministry with Bro. Sadhu in Israel, will be our special ministers for our children.

3. FELLOWSHIP LUNCH - SUN 16 DEC
   Delicious finger food will be served on Sunday 16 December after the morning service.

   Coffee Van will also be on site to provide tasty coffee’s, tea’s, hot chocolate.

   No need to bring anything, just yourselves. But also why not invite someone to the church for warm fellowship over yummy food.

4. CHRISTMAS COFFEE CARD for the HOMELESS
   Thank you for your generosity in helping our street friends through Jesus Cares Ministry during this Christmas season. We have given a total of $2,070 this year and many kind Christmas cards.

5. THANK YOU CHRISTMAS HAMPER for the SCHOOL
   We have thanked the school with Christmas Hamper again this year. Let’s pray and bless the school staff and the children, who generously share their facilities with us.

6. EPPING OUTREACH
   Evangelism Team will meet for the last outreach for 2018 on Sat 15 Dec with Bro David Bishop from Australia for Jesus, who will be there to help us build the outreach team in Epping.
   We will pray for souls 9-10am, then reach out with the gospel in the streets of Epping. We will regroup in GIHOP afterwards for debriefing and fellowship afterwards.

7. QUARTERLY LEADERSHIP MEETING is scheduled on Sat 15 Dec, 10:30am-4:30pm, and leadership prayer gathering on each Tue (excl. last Tue). Please, pray that GI leadership will hear the Lord’s voice as they seek His face together in prayer and obey Him.

8. CHRISTMAS WORSHIP SERVICE - TUE 25 DEC
   We will gather for special worship service on Christmas Day on Tue 25 Dec from 10:00-11:30am to thank God for giving us His Son, Jesus Christ. Offerings taken will be given to Angela for her missions work.

9. THIRD SUNDAY FELLOWSHIP GROUP 2019
   Small group(s) will start meeting on Sunday afternoon after the service on the 3rd Sunday of each month to share our lives in the Word and for deeper fellowship with tea/coffee and quick bites. It will commence on Sun 20 Jan 2019.

3. Ps Runa & Philip Meeks will be to ministering to our children in the Sunday School on SUN 4 NOVEMBER. Ps Runa is a children’s minister who served with Brother Sadhu Selvaraj in Jerusalem, and ministers to the Lord in prayer and intercession together with her husband, Ps Philip.
   Ps Runa will also minister to the children’s ministry workers after sharing lunch on Sun 4 Nov. We encourage you to bring your children, and if you have heart for children’s ministry, to participate in the ministry training.

4. Wednesday Night Fellowship Dinner is on Wed 7 Nov in GIHOP, 7:30-9:30pm. Bring a plate and enjoy warm and fun-filled fellowship, and discuss the next potential Bible Study topic.

7. Ps Dong Campoy of Glory Christian Centre, Philippines will be ministering in GI on SUN 25 NOV. Saved from the streets as a homeless child, Ps Campoy became a living testimony of Jesus’ grace and power, serving the Lord tirelessly and with great joy and humility though in a body broken by polio.

OCTOBER 2018

1. Daylight Saving begins on the first Sunday of this month, 7 Oct 2018 when clocks go forward 1 hour. This means we have to wake up 1 hour earlier to be in church on time!

Bishop Aruldoss of Bethel Prophetic Ministries from India, has strong anointing in the prophetic and healing ministry, and is a close ministry partner of Bro. Sadhu Selvaraj.

Please, keep praying for effective door of gospel to open in the mission field for Angela, and for anointed interpreters called by God to partner with her to labour in the gospel.

4. Michael Relf of Chosen People Ministries Israel from Jerusalem, will be in GIHOP on Wednesday 30 May, 7:30-9:30pm to share his testimony on serving in the IDF - Israel Defence Force, and his ministry to the Messianic Jews in the IDF.

8. Awake! Prayer Summit 2018 with Ps Julius Suubi on Fri 20 - Sun 22 April has been CANCELLED due to unforeseen circumstances. We apologise for the inconvenience. We will seek for another opportunity to host Ps Suubi in the future in the Lord's timing.
    

9. GI will have Table Fellowship on Sunday 15 & 22 April as a way of deepening our fellowship with one another in the church. We will sit at our designated tables in small groups, and share in worship and in the Word of God.
    

10. We welcome back Darrel & Erin from ministry trip to ME & Sri Lanka. Please pray that their faithful labour in those nations will bear much fruit that will last.
     

11. Dr Edwin will be teaching on the significance of Jewish Passover in the Wednesday Evening Bible Study on Wed 4 April, 7:30-9:30pm @GIHOP. The teaching material is also accessible on Wednesday Bible Study.
    

12. A "BIG Thank You" to all GI CAMP 2018 volunteers who worked sacrificially to make the camp another significant time of deep healing and rest in the Lord and wonderful fellowship with one another.

7. We welcome back Ps Paul, David & Kin Li and Kit from ministry trip to Indonesia (end of February to mid March), where Kin Li’s book ‘Our God Speaks’ has been translated into Indonesian language. Please, pray the Lord will keep using Kin Li’s book to touch many hearts in Indonesia, and for lasting fruitfulness from the team's labour in the nation, and for Australia to catch the fire of the Indonesian revival.

JANUARY 2018

1. Wednesday Night Bible Study with Ps Paul & Dr Edwin will recommence from Wed 7 Feb, 7:30-9:30pm in GIHOP. We will study in depth selected Psalms from the Scriptures.
   

2. Ps Paul & Mia will be on annual leave from Mon 22 - Mon 29 Jan. Please, contact GI leaders for any urgent matters.
   

3. Angela Teo will meet with a small group on Sun 14 Jan after the Worship Service at the back of the hall. If you want to know more about her missionary labours and plans, or partner with her in prayer, or receive her updates, please come and chat with her over coffee and tea.
